New Patients

When booking, let us know if you’re a new patient. We’ll allow extra time for your first appointment to get to know you, review your dental history, and discuss your concerns.

What to Bring

When you come in for your appointment, please bring:

  • Medicare card — For CDBS or rebate claims if applicable
  • Health fund card — If you have private health insurance with dental cover
  • List of current medications — For health history assessment (new patients)
  • Previous dental records — If transferring from another dentist
  • Details of concerns — Write down any dental issues you want to discuss

Appointment Types

Check-up & Clean (New Patients)

30–45 minutes. Includes examination, X-rays (if needed), professional clean, and personalised advice about your oral health.

Check-up & Clean (Existing Patients)

30–45 minutes. Regular preventive visit to maintain your dental health.

Cosmetic Consultation

45–60 minutes. Discuss smile makeover options including whitening, veneers, crowns, or braces.

Treatment Appointments

Variable time. Fillings, root canals, extractions, and other restorative work. We’ll advise on expected duration when you book.

Emergency Appointments

We keep slots available for dental emergencies. Call us immediately if you have severe pain, trauma, or a knocked-out tooth.

Cancellations and Late Arrivals

We request 24 hours’ notice for cancellations to allow other patients to book. Late cancellations (within 24 hours) may incur a cancellation fee.

If you’re running late, please call us as soon as possible. We’ll try to accommodate you if time is available.

Directions and Parking

We’re located at Unit 3/110 Lang Street, Kurri Kurri — on the main road through town. Free street parking is available on Lang Street and in the adjacent car park. Our practice is accessible from the car park entrance.

We serve patients from across the Lower Hunter Valley, including Heddon Greta, Weston, Abermain, Pelaw Main, Cliftleigh, Gillieston Heights, Buchanan, Mulbring, Cessnock, and Maitland.
